Jelani “Hawk” Hawkins, a native of South-Central Los Angeles, played football at San Jose State University, where he earned his degree in Criminal Law with a minor in Sociology in 2002. He went on to join the inaugural roster of the Houston Texans for the 2002-2003 NFL season.
Hawk is a founding partner of Fifteen58, leveraging his extensive sports and business background. He has a track record of success in trucking and logistics, and he contributed to the growth of Athletic Gaines and Squeezed.com. As a mentor for over two decades, he has guided young athletes, helping them achieve personal and professional goals.
A dedicated community leader, Hawk partners with resource groups to provide essential items to families in need and is a social impact investor in affordable housing projects in Greensboro, NC, and Atlanta, GA.
He currently serves as CEO of Fat Richards Trucking and Construction, as well as Fifteen58 Consulting, and resides in Houston, Texas.
